Are the Los Angeles Rams going 'all in' for 2024? - 8 months ago

Apologies if already posted, but I didn't see it.Are the Los Angeles Rams going 'all in' for 2024?The moves the Los Angeles Rams have made in the 2024 offseason all have one word in common: aggressive. They've signed numerous outside free agents for the first time in several years, they threw around significant draft capital in the 2024 NFL Draft, and made it a point to lock up sev

So how do we feel about Tom Brady calling games this year??? - 8 months ago

Personally, I can't stand listening to him. He may be "football smart" but he has very little personality and absolutely no sense of humor! Maybe those 2 things go together! He's the kind of guy you can't stand talking to unless it's about football! lolI don't see what value he will offer other than his "name". Football knowledge only gets you so far. At some point, y

When Houston's C.J. Jackson, to me, is more of arough prospect. Watching him he's got a lot of good but does a few thingsthat he needs a lot of work ...as a rookie -- not seeing him having the kind of impact, say Young or Turner had. To me -- seems like a guy whowill have an impact in year 2 or 3. Needs some move shiftiness, straight line speed is good ... I just think he needs work.

THE ALCHEMY OF OFFENSIVE PLAY CALLINGWhen it comes to calling offensive plays, "great" is subjective. However, there are characteristics that most successful NFL play callers share that can be studied even if they're not always quantifiable in the box score.MANUFACTURING EXPLOSIVE PLAYS — This is the thing that typically gets the attention as the sexier side of play calling, but

Agreed. I think it'll get done. It just puts a bad taste in my mouth - 8 months ago

Agree with all you said. It just really bugs me when people in any walk of life renege on their promises, word, or contract agreements. I understand very well the business aspect of things for both sides, and that there can be extraordinary circumstances that could trigger a renege or needed alteration. But, for me, this just falls under not being ethical. I also find it likely that despite w

nothing new and it is a two way street.... - 8 months ago

this is nothing new in the NFL once the latest top player at a position gets a huge payday, like Goff just did.... the ohter guys in that tier who are getting much less, want a re-do.also, owners/teams often times never fulfill their contract terms on the other side of things....the only thing that is guaranteed is the guaranteed portion of the deal.

It only took us 3 years (we took our sweet time), but we finally finished watching all 12 seasons of The Big Bang Theory. I loved this series and really liked the final episode. It wrapped up things very well. I don't usually like comedies because most of them are stupid or crass which is not the same thing as funny in my book. However, I'd rank The Big Bang Theory as excellent. I was sorry to

Upgraded Secondary, better FG Kicker, healthy Kupp adds 2 more wins - 8 months ago

An adequate Secondary and a good FG Kicker would have been worth at least 2 games last season and I think that reality will carry over to this season. Our Secondary was a C- in my book. They all took turns screwing it up. One of the bigger culprits, but not called out for it because he's such a likable guy, was Fuller. He was slow to his mark, slow to react, and I think out of position a numb
